Simple Apple Oatmeal
Nothing beats oatmeal topped with fruits. Yes, the secret to a good bowl of oatmeal is fruit and spices to boost the flavour and increase the antioxidant; the substances that can reduce harmful products generated by cells like free radicals in your body.
I love oatmeal because it is simple and quick to make and definitely keeps the hunger at bay. The trick is to have it with fruit and some spices to boost the flavour and honestly, it makes a big difference. It feels like having a dessert for breakfast except its healthier.
I chopped an apple into slices to add sweetness and crunchiness. I also added cinnamon, crushed hazelnuts and drizzled a bit of cashew butter to add more flavour, however you can use any nut butter of your choice.
