MEET the creator

Hello friend!

I create recipes, photography and food stories that celebrate wholesome ingredients and indigenous African foods.

My work is rooted in a love for simple, nourishing cooking, the kind made with real ingredients, produce and traditions that have shaped kitchens for generations.

Growing up, foods like sorghum, grains, and everyday indigenous ingredients were simply part of life. Over time, I began to see them differently, not just as familiar foods, but as ingredients rich with culture, history and flavour.

Today, through recipes, storytelling and visual work, I explore the beauty of these ingredients while creating food that feels both comforting and modern. Here you’ll find recipes, ingredient guides and food stories that celebrate real food, thoughtful cooking and the joy of discovering something delicious.

Past collaborations include: Waitrose & Partners | Quorn | Amy’s Kitchen | teapigs etc.
