Chocolate oatmeal waffles

How to make these chocolate oatmeal waffles
Ingredients
- 3 cups oatmeal
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups almond milk
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp coconut sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- 1/4 coconut oil
- Flax egg (2 tbsp flaxseeds in 4 tablespoon water)
Equipment
- Waffle maker
Method
- Add all of the dry ingredients to a bowl, mix them all together then gradually pour in the milk, stirring as you go to work out the lumps.
- Stir until the mixture turns into a smooth batter. Leave to rest for 5-10 minutes until the mixture has thickened.
- Pour/spoon the batter onto the waffle maker and cook on medium heat until steam stops coming out of the side. (The waffle should have to give a signal to take it out) as soon as it does remove them.
- Repeat until the batter is all used up.
