Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • ¼ cup cacao powder
  • ½ cup almonds
  • ¼ cup cacao nibs
  • ¼ cup dried cranberries
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

Instructions

  • Start by adding the shredded coconut, cacao powder, almond nuts, cacao nibs, dried cranberries, and coconut oil into the food processor or high-speed blender. Make sure to pulse the ingredients until they form a sticky and evenly mixed dough-like consistency. This should take about 2-3 minutes.
  • Once the dough is ready, use your hands to roll small portions of it into bite-sized balls. Place each ball onto the lined baking tray. Repeat this step until all the dough has been used.
  • Once all the coconut cacao balls are placed on the baking tray, place the tray in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to allow the balls to firm up. This will make them easier to handle and enjoy.
  • After 30 minutes, take out the tray from the refrigerator and marvel at the beautiful coconut cacao balls you've created. These little delights are now ready to be devoured!

Notes

If you don't have a food processor or high-speed blender, you can still make these coconut cacao balls by finely chopping the almond nuts and dried cranberries and mixing all the ingredients together in a bowl. It may take a bit more time and effort, but the end result will be just as delicious.
