- 2 sweet potatoes Large, peeled
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon corn flour
- 1 teaspoon cajun spice
- ½ tsp black pepper optional
- ½ tsp sea salt to taste
Preheat the oven to 200℃
Prepare the sweet potatoes. Cut them into thin, long shapes and place them in a large bowl.
In a separate small bowl, combine cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, and cajun spice.
Drizzle oil onto the sweet potatoes until they are fully covered, then add the spice mixture to the sweet potatoes. Mix well to ensure even coating.
Transfer the coated sweet potatoes onto a baking tray, making sure to space them out evenly.
Bake in the oven for 15 minutes. Afterwards, remove the tray and toss the sweet potatoes with a fork. Place them back in the oven for an additional 15 minutes to achieve a crispy finish.
Once done, take the sweet potatoes out of the oven. Combine coriander, salt, and black pepper, and crush them using a rolling pin, pestle and mortar, or your fingers. Sprinkle this mixture over the fries. Allow them to cool completely to enhance their crispiness. Finally, serve and enjoy!
